Makara Sankranti
At ILA, we celebrated Makara Sankranti with immense joy and enthusiasm. This significant harvest festival, observed annually on January 14th, brings people together to celebrate the season of abundance.
Students and teachers embraced the occasion by donning traditional attire, adding vibrant color and energy to the festivities. The celebration kicked off with a fun kite-making activity, where students, with the guidance of their teachers, crafted colorful kites, showcasing their creativity and teamwork.
The school was beautifully adorned with vibrant rangolis, designed by our students, adding a traditional touch to the celebration. The intricate patterns they created filled the space with cultural richness and warmth.
Our Sankranti celebration was not just about festivities but also about fostering cultural awareness, community spirit, and spreading joy.
